What fees may apply to my order? When you place an order, the fees you may pay cover delivery and platform costs so your order can arrive quickly and reliably. Orders may include the following fees: Delivery Fee: Delivery Fees help cover delivery costs. They vary for each merchant based on factors like demand, your location and the availability of nearby delivery people. You’ll always know the Delivery Fee before selecting a merchant. Vice City Shops collects this fee; it is not a gratuity. Couriers also receive payment per local laws. Local Operating Fee: This fee helps offset the increased costs of regulations imposed on third-party food delivery platforms. Uber collects this fee; it is not a gratuity. Couriers also receive payment per local laws. Service Fee and Other Fees: These fees vary based on factors like basket size and help cover costs related to your order. You pay $0.10 of these fees directly to Vice City Shops for marketplace services (such as facilitating access to couriers and merchants), and the remaining amount is remitted to your Courier. Your Courier may pay a portion of these fees to Vice City Shops for various services, including lead generation, payment processing, issue support, and other ancillary services. Fees do not constitute gratuities. Small Order Fee: A Small Order Fee may apply when an order’s subtotal is less than a certain amount. The Small Order Fee varies by city, but you can remove this fee by adding more items to your cart. Delivery Adjustment Fee: A Delivery Adjustment Fee refers to an update you made after placing your order- like changing your address. It helps to pay your delivery person for extra time and effort. Marketplace Fee: The Marketplace Fee applies ONLY to orders that stores deliver on their own, and it helps us operate the platform. Depending on a customer’s location, this fee is charged either as a percent of an order’s subtotal, and is calculated on the total before any promotions or discounts are applied, or a flat fee. A minimum and/or maximum amount may also apply to the marketplace fee as displayed on the fees information screen. Age verification Fee Refunds fee:

Are tips included in my order total? If you added a tip for your delivery person in the app, your order total will include your tip amount. Tipping is never required, but you can add a tip as an extra way to thank your delivery person for their efforts. 100% of any tip you add goes to the delivery person. If you added a tip before the order, you have up to one hour after the order is complete to edit the amount of the tip. If you choose to tip after the order, you can add a tip for up to 90 days after the order is complete. You can also tip your delivery person in cash when they arrive.

What's estimated pricing? Some orders show an estimated price for the subtotal and tax. By placing your order, you authorize your delivery person to order and pay on your behalf. After the order is completed, you’ll see the final order total along with an updated receipt. The actual charge may vary due to in-store prices, item availability, item substitutions and/or changes to promotions or promotion availability. If that happens, we’ll update your final subtotal and tax. Everything else – from delivery fee, service fee, small-order fee and subscriptions will be based on the estimated total. Estimated pricing terms Estimated Subtotal = the estimated price of the order, which may exclude some, but not necessarily all, promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip. Estimated Total = the estimated total price of the order, which includes promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip. Final Subtotal + Tax = the amount paid to the store by the delivery person. The final subtotal has been adjusted to reflect the store’s charges for all items purchased, including applicable fees. Final Total = the store-confirmed total price of the order, which includes promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip. Why did the tax amount change? The tax amount may be adjusted according to the new final total, based on the amount charged by the store. Will other charges/fees change when the estimated total is updated? No. The service fees, delivery fees, and, as applicable, tip amounts you see during checkout won’t change if the estimated total is updated.

Why is the delivery fee higher than expected? When there are more orders in a certain area than delivery people who are able to deliver them, the delivery fee may be higher than usual to ensure you can still get the items you want, when you want it. Your app will let you know when there aren’t enough delivery people in a particular area. On the main feed, stores in these areas will display an arrow indicating the fee is higher than usual. The total fee will be displayed when you open the store’s menu. Scheduled orders are subject to these fees based on the fee amount at the time of the order, not the delivery time.
